A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

I was born & raised in Vermont, attended college in Massachusetts, taught English in South Korea & received my master's degree in News & Documentary from New York University.

I began my career in journalism at ABC News, worked simultaneously as a personal assistant for one of the Real Housewives of NYC & helped film a PBS documentary in LA.

I'm especially proud of my work at CBS News, for which I ideated, conceptualized & executed the creation of an original climate solutions series, pitching the concept to the network’s president of digital content & overseeing the end-to-end production of mini-documentary episodes.

My most recent role in network news was Features Producer for the TODAY Show at NBC News. I've since created my own production company, Boys' Club Productions. I’m working toward my personal training certification & publishing essays on Substack. How To Be An Imperfect Human is where I explore my passion for health & wellness in a way that’s honest, unpretentious &—more importantly—unapologetically unpolished. Please follow & share!

When I have free time, you'll find me creating a children's animated climate solutions series, building my brand as a professional storyteller or nerding out about fitness & wellness, pottery & woodworking, design, current events, animals & fossils.

ABOUT MY PROCESS

My Work

I create content with purpose—stories that captivate, inform & inspire. With 12+ years of experience behind me, I’ve mastered the art of writing, producing, shooting & editing impactful content. Whether collaborating with major networks or flying solo, producing for national news broadcasts or digital audiences, I’ve orchestrated live segments & standalone features, managing the complex dynamics of camera crews, on-air talent, graphics teams & editors with precision & flair.

I thrive in journalism & creative director roles, where I can shape the artistic direction & production of news stories, social media content & documentaries, as well as marketing campaigns & strategic messaging guides. Whether in the field, control room, newsroom or conducting media trainings, I bring expertise in breaking news coverage & long-form storytelling, always with an eye for detail & a perfectionist’s touch. My work isn’t just a job—it’s my passion.

At my core, I’m driven by a commitment to ethical, meaningful journalism that helps audiences better understand the world around them. To that end, I’ve launched a Substack (The Boys' Club) that connects today’s headlines to lived experiences. It's part of an effort to shift the legacy media landscape away from out-of-touch narratives & toward storytelling that’s grounded, accessible & real.

I'm a relentlessly curious storyteller, a truth-seeker, go-getter, team-player, fitness-fanatic, wellness-enthusiast, human rights-defender & climate change-warrior.
